As many of you know, I am an appoholic. I have spent countless hours testing and working with apps, as well as field testing them for developers and district special education programs. Parents and teachers alike often wonder- what are truly the best apps out there?
Well, the folks at Appolicious have launched a new site, and it’s called Appolearning. Appolearning consists of a field of educators, parents, and experts in leveraging apps for children. The site is easy to navigate, and is not overwhelming with a barrage of information. In conjunction with the narrative review, there is a report card that is easy for parents and teachers to understand. In the sea of app review sites, Appolearning is one to bookmark and refer to often!
I am honored to be a part of this endeavor, and have contributed content in the area of Special Needs. Some other notable contributors are Audrey O’Clair, who is a contributor for Early Childhood, Apple Distinguished Educator Gordon Shupe , who is a contributor for High School Science, and Lisa Caplan . who is a contributor for the Arts.
So, check out Appolearning. You won’t be disappointed!
